Michael Andreoli named to Zionsville Area Reorganization Commission

Michael Andreoli has been appointed to the 9-person committee charged with making recommendations for the future of Zionsville.

Mike is presently infrastructure committee head; currently studying which roads in the area need the most work and how much it costs to maintain them.

The mission statement of the Communities of Zionsville Area for Better Government Initiative is " To offer the citizens of Eagle Township, Union Township and the Town of Zionsville the unique opportunity to study and explore efficiencies in governance which will preserve the heritage and quality of life for those living in southeast Boone County."

The committee's resolution states the desire of the committee is to examine potential governmental reorganization in Eagle and Union townships and Zionsville, bearing in mind at all times the goals of efficiency and cooperation in governance and the objectives of:

* Maintaining and enhancing the small town heritage of the Zionsville area;

* Maintaining and enhancing the need for rural, agrarian areas to peacefully co-exist with residential, commercial and industrial development within southeast Boone County toward the end of advancing prudent fiscal planning and support for required local governmental services; and

* Maintaining and enhancing the provision of fiscally sound government services within Southeast Boone County, including the services such as infrastructure, area planning and health
and safety.

Coleman Helps Developer Obtain Residential
Golf Course Zoning Approval

Hideout Lake, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Community being developed on the Uncompahgre Plateau between Montrose and Telluride, Colorado, promises to be a sportsman’s paradise. 

In commenting about the nearly complete development process for Hideout Lake, Coleman stated “you cannot overstate the challenges a developer and his legal counsel face when dealing with three counties, the State of Colorado, the United States Forest Service, the United States Bureau of Land Management, the United States Army Corp of Engineers, and the Environmental Protection Agency.”

Firm represents Zionsville Merchants Association in Wal-Mart hearing.

When Wal-Mart announced plans for a SuperStore complex on land owned by the town of Zionsville, Andreoli & Jacob were contracted by concerned members of the Zionsville Merchants Association and local neighborhood associations to represent their opposition.

A&J partners, Jeff Jacob and Michael Andreoli, appeared before the largest attended Zionsville Town Council hearing and presented the merchant's case against this development.

The Zionsville Town Council voted to refuse the building of the Super Store, allowing Wal-Mart to re-apply with a different downsized plan in 24 months.

Seen as a victory for the town's village charm and many locally owned businesses, ZMA representative Kent Esra credited Andreoli & Jacob's legal representation as a major factor in swaying the Town Council opinion against the building.

Jeff Jacob recently rode his horse, Twilight's Grand Slam, to national honors - finishing 2nd overall at the 2007 World Championship Appaloosa Show in Fort Worth, TX.

Town Judge orders town marshall jailed - Andreoli & Jacob help resolve small town feud.

When the Town Judge of Whitestown, IN ordered his own town marshall jailed on contempt charges, Andreoli & Jacob partner, Jeff Jacob, was able to work out a mutual agreement wherein the marshall would stay on his job and out of the county jail.
