Firm represents Zionsville Merchants Association in Wal-Mart hearing.
When Wal-Mart announced plans for a SuperStore complex on land owned by the town of Zionsville, Andreoli & Jacob were contracted by concerned members of the Zionsville Merchants Association and local neighborhood associations to represent their opposition.
A&J partners, Jeff Jacob and Michael Andreoli, appeared before the largest attended Zionsville Town Council hearing and presented the merchant's case against this development.
The Zionsville Town Council voted to refuse the building of the Super Store, allowing Wal-Mart to re-apply with a different downsized plan in 24 months.
Seen as a victory for the town's village charm and many locally owned businesses, ZMA representative Kent Esra credited Andreoli & Jacob's legal representation as a major factor in swaying the Town Council opinion against the building.
